The Opportunity

Transit Technologies is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution across Bytecurve and BusHive, while driving the evolution of Workforce Management as a strategic capability within TransitOS.

Bytecurve provides school transportation leaders with modern routing, GPS, and operational tools for K-12 transportation. Workforce Management unifies dispatch, payroll, communications, and workforce operations into a single real-time platform that powers daily transportation operations.

This is a highly visible role responsible for defining product vision, prioritizing investments, aligning cross-functional teams, and delivering solutions that improve customer outcomes while advancing the long-term TransitOS platform strategy.

You'll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and executive leadership to build products customers love while helping shape the future of transportation technology.

What You'll Own

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own product strategy and roadmap for Bytecurve and BusHive.
  • Lead the evolution of Workforce Management as a strategic capability within TransitOS.
  • Prioritize customer needs, market opportunities, business objectives, and platform investments.
  • Translate company strategy into measurable product outcomes.
  • Balance short-term customer commitments with long-term product innovation.

Workforce Management & Platform Strategy

  • Define how Workforce Management integrates into the broader TransitOS ecosystem.
  • Drive interoperability across workflows, reporting, operational intelligence, and shared platform services.
  • Identify opportunities for unified customer experiences across multiple Transit products.
  • Position Workforce Management as a strategic driver of customer retention and platform adoption.

K-12 Product Leadership

  • Drive product vision for Bytecurve and BusHive.
  • Improve routing, visibility, workforce coordination, and day-to-day transportation operations.
  • Partner with customers to understand operational challenges and validate product direction.
  • Ensure roadmap priorities reflect the evolving needs of school districts and transportation providers.

Customer & Market Leadership

  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to influence roadmap decisions.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support on product positioning and go-to-market readiness.
  • Evaluate competitive trends and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Connect customer insights to measurable business outcomes.

Product Execution

  • Translate strategy into clear product requirements, prioritized backlogs, and release plans.
  • Lead cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, UX, Data, and Business teams.
  • Drive disciplined prioritization and roadmap governance.
  • Establish operating rhythms for roadmap reviews, stakeholder communication, and product delivery.

Executive & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Align Engineering, Product, GTM, Customer teams, and executive leadership around product priorities.
  • Clearly communicate tradeoffs, progress, and roadmap decisions.
  • Build trust through transparency, strong judgment, and consistent execution.

Within your first 12 months, you will:

  • Deliver a clear, customer-driven roadmap across Bytecurve, BusHive, and Workforce Management.
  • Improve product execution predictability through disciplined prioritization and roadmap governance.
  • Strengthen customer satisfaction by addressing key workflow pain points across K-12 transportation operations.
  • Advance Workforce Management as a foundational component of the TransitOS platform.
  • Build strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and executive leadership.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in customer adoption, operational efficiency, and product differentiation.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience leading enterprise SaaS or B2B software products.
  • Demonstrated success owning complex product roadmaps and multi-product initiatives.
  • Strong experience translating strategy into execution through prioritization, roadmap planning, and delivery management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-moving environments.
  • Experience simplifying complex operational workflows into intuitive software solutions.
  • Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Strong customer discovery experience with the ability to translate customer feedback into differentiated product strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in K-12 transportation, public transit, mobility, logistics, workforce management, or operational technology.
  • Experience building SaaS platforms or AI-enabled software products.
  • Familiarity with dispatch, payroll, workforce scheduling, communications, or transportation operations.
  • Experience working across multiple connected software products or platform modernization initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategic product initiatives.
