At Regions, the Regions Business Capital Underwriting Analyst supports the relationship management and origination efforts of Regions Business Capital.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Models financial projections and sensitizations
  • Spreads and analyzes financial statements
  • Evaluates risk ratings and calculates RAROC's
  • Performs research on specific companies and industries
  • Analyzes collateral data
  • Writes analysis memos and assists in the preparation of credit approvals and preparing other documents
  • Performs other duties necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department and overall business unit

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. 

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • At least 2 accounting classes

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to produce an accurate work product
  • Ability to work long hours and have a flexible schedule to meet tight deadlines
  • Accounting and finance skills/abilities, with prior financial analysis experience
  • Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and facts
  • Proficient modeling and Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Self motivated, quick learner, with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$82,099.50 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
