The Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) team at Vanderlande is a dynamic group of professionals dedicated to providing strategic support and enhancing demand and supply management capabilities. Comprising diverse roles such as RfX Specialists, Contract Administration Specialists, Procurement Reporting Analysts, Procurement Cost Analysts, Procurement Market Insight Analysts, and Supplier Onboarding Specialists, the team collaborates closely with the demand and supply management teams to deliver high-quality support and insights. What you will do

As a Global Procurement Business Analyst, you will support the global Procurement organization with recurring and ad-hoc reporting, analytics, dashboard development, and management insights across multiple procurement disciplines.

You will work closely with procurement stakeholders to understand business challenges, translate reporting requirements into meaningful analytics, and deliver accurate, actionable, and timely insights. You will leverage data from procurement platforms, ERP systems, spend analytics tools, supplier management solutions, and reporting applications to support informed decision making across the Procurement function.

You will also collaborate with the Supply Data & Analytics team and digital teams to help design scalable reporting solutions, improve data quality, and drive adoption of standardized procurement reporting across Vanderlande

Responsibilities

  • Act as the central reporting and analytics partner for the global Procurement organization.
  • Support the CPO, Procurement Leadership Team, Global Category Managers, and other stakeholders with actionable insights and reporting.
  • Develop and/or maintain dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and management reports across procurement domains.
  • Deliver recurring and ad-hoc reporting covering spend, suppliers, sourcing, contracts, performance, compliance, risk, and sustainability.
  • Translate business requirements into meaningful reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Leverage tools such as Sievo, Ivalua, Power BI, ERP systems, and Excel to generate insights and drive decision-making.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
  • Support executive reviews, category reviews, supplier reviews, and procurement governance reporting.
  • Collaborate with Digital and Data & Analytics teams to enhance reporting automation and data quality.
  • Drive standardization, continuous improvement, and adoption of procurement reporting best practices.
  • Provide analytical support for procurement transformation and strategic initiatives.

What you bring

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven 5+ years of experience in procurement analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Experience developing dashboards, KPI scorecards, management reports, and executive reporting using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with procurement platforms and data sources such as Sievo, Ivalua, SAP, Coupa, Ariba, or similar systems.
  • Good understanding of procurement processes, including category management, sourcing, supplier management, spend analytics, contracts, and procurement performance.
  • Ability to manage both recurring reporting and ad-hoc analytical requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders ranging from Global Category Managers to Procurement Leadership and CPO level.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with experience working in global, cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.

Preferred

  • Experience with procurement and business analytics, spend analysis, supplier performance, risk reporting, or procurement transformation initiatives.
  • Passion for automation, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making.
