Project Rise After-School Office Manager

 

Job Description

Directly Reports to: Assistant Project Rise Coordinator

Indirectly Reports to: Programs Director

Status: Part-time, Non-Exempt

 

Hourly rate: $15/hour, maximum 40 hours per week

Location: Walton Elementary, 3200 Bailey Avenue, Jackson, MS 39213

Dates: Starting August 3, 2026

 

Time: Monday- Friday from 2:30 pm- 5:30 pm

 

JOB SUMMARY: The office manager answers calls, takes and delivers phone messages, assists with dismissal procedures, interacts with parents/families and performs other duties as assigned for Project Rise after-school held at Walton Elementary.

 

The ideal office manager is an organized, high-energy professional with administrative (office) experience, and proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace. S/he must possess exceptional communication skills to handle parents and staff, maintain strict confidentiality, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced, and energetic environment.
