WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will get to:

  • Prepare financial reports and analyses to support plant initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and variance analysis of plant spend versus budget and forecast.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through reconciliation and cycle count support.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data and preparing reports.
  • Support annual standard cost rolls; including raw material analysis, plant overhead rate calculations, and production forecasting.
  • Provide support for audits by organizing documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for efficiency and learn best practices in a manufacturing finance environment.
  • Will have opportunity to support projects.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or analyst role, preferably within a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Strong cost accounting skills, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite, with experience working with large data sets.
  • Experience working with Tableau, Power BI, and/or other data tools a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Demonstrates an explorer mindset and effective problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to develop skills in financial analysis and reporting.
