Position: Java Developer – DevOps & CI/CD Experience: 5–6 Years Location: Bangalore (Preferred) / Gurgaon
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with DevOps expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java development along with CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance. The candidate should be proficient in modern DevOps tools and practices, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, and SonarQube, to support automated application deployment and quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
- Build, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
- Work with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and SonarQube.
- Integrate code quality, security, and testing tools within deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline release processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment issues across environments.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and release management processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for build, deployment, and monitoring processes.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development.
- Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Good knowledge of SonarQube and code quality management.
- Strong understanding of Git and version control best practices.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and automation practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in Java development and DevOps.
