Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer, you will be an integral part of Mashreq's Network Services team, responsible for the administration and management of our network infrastructure. Your duties will encompass a range of tasks, including system administration, documentation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Your primary focus will be to enable seamless business operations and ensure the smooth functioning of all network systems, catering to both onsite and work-from-home setups.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage the network platform for Egypt MGN COE users, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation, keeping it up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Tweak and optimize system performance, identifying and resolving any bottlenecks or issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related problems, providing timely support to users.
• Enable and facilitate business operations by ensuring the network infrastructure is reliable and efficient.
• Oversee backup and recovery processes, implementing best practices to safeguard critical data.
• Collaborate with other teams to understand their network requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest network technologies and industry trends, suggesting improvements and upgrades.
• Monitor network performance and capacity, identifying potential issues and implementing preventive measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a network engineering or administration role.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network infrastructure management and administration.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
• Familiarity with network security best practices and measures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a logical and systematic approach to work.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
