Job Description
We are looking for a Production Engineer to join a team responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support production applications and infrastructure
- Manage incidents and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions
- Monitor application performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
- Support application releases, deployments, and change activities
- Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and Business teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence
- Participate in an on-call rotation and Follow-The-Sun support model
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in Production Support, Application Support, Infrastructure Operations or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
- Experience with application servers and web technologies (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, .NET or Java)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana or Geneos
- Scripting experience with Python, Shell or SQL
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform
- Basic understanding of SQL Server and/or Oracle
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem and Change Management)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English
- Proactive mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to participate in an on-call support rotation when required
