Accountabilities: As an Especialista Mobile (Android), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mobile solutions while supporting broader platform evolution through backend and cloud expertise. You will act as a technical partner, helping teams solve complex problems and ensuring high-quality engineering practices.

• Develop and maintain Android applications using modern development practices and Kotlin.

• Create, maintain, and integrate Android libraries and SDKs to support scalable mobile solutions.

• Contribute to backend development initiatives using Java, including API and service implementation.

• Support cloud-based solutions by integrating and consuming AWS services.

• Collaborate across Mobile, Backend, and Cloud teams to identify opportunities and deliver technical improvements.

• Participate in architectural decisions, technical discussions, and solution design activities.

• Ensure application quality through best practices in software architecture, testing, performance optimization, and maintainability.

• Integrate applications with REST APIs and microservices-based architectures.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to improving reliability and user experience.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within agile and collaborative development environments.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a senior mobile engineer with strong Android expertise, a broad technical perspective, and the ability to contribute across multiple layers of a technology ecosystem.

• Solid experience developing Android applications using Kotlin.

• Experience creating, maintaining, and integrating Android libraries and SDKs.

• Professional experience developing APIs and backend services with Java.

• Experience working with AWS services and cloud integrations.

• Ability to operate across Mobile, Backend, and Cloud areas depending on project needs.

• Strong knowledge of software architecture, development best practices, testing strategies, and application performance.

• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with microservices architectures.

• Experience with agile methodologies and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and ownership mindset.

• Experience with ExoPlayer is a plus.

• Knowledge of Quarkus, CI/CD practices, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is desirable.

• Experience with observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting distributed applications is an advantage.
