BUSINESS ANALYST
Purpose of Position
Reporting to the Head of Operational Efficiency, the incumbent will be responsible for understanding and documenting current and future business needs, translating these needs into requirements, and evaluating technologies and solutions for best fit and adequacy. The incumbent will also aid in the review of company business processes, and the implementation of business solutions, in conjunction with other key stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate is an organized, proactive, flexible, results and solution oriented individual with strong communication, presentation and analytical skills.
Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge
At minimum, applicants should possess the following:
- First Degree in Management, Banking and Finance or related field
- IIBA-Certified Business Analyst Professional or PMI certification would be an advantage
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Business Process Analysis, Design or Improvements and working in the financial industry
- Exposure to the General Insurance industry is an asset.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) terminologies.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and techniques.
- Strong customer relations and relationship building skills, poise, tact and diplomacy.
- Excellent time management and the ability to plan, prioritize, negotiate and meet deadlines/time constraints in a high-pressure environment
