About the role

You will be responsible for the design development and detailing of parts and assemblies using 3D CAD software. Additionally, you will manage technical documentation, perform dimensioning calculations, and maintain data within PLM and ERP systems.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed vocational training as a technical product designer or draftsperson with experience in 3D modeling and precision engineering. Proficiency in Solid Edge, SAP, and Geometrical Product Specification is required, along with good English language skills.

Full description

What you can expect

  • Design development and detailing of individual parts and assemblies based on requirements, sketches and concepts using 3D CAD (Solid Edge)
  • Performing calculations for dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Creation of development-related design documentation such as specifications, bills of materials, drawings, presentations, etc.
  • Execution of change management activities
  • Maintenance of data in various systems such as PLM (pro.file), ERP (SAP) and SharePoint
  • Close collaboration with the entire development team and related departments

What you need to succeed with us

  • Completed vocational training as a technical product designer or technical draftsperson
  • Experience in creating 3D models and technical drawings/documents in the field of device development / precision engineering and plastic components
  • Confident handling of Solid Edge
  • Experience with Geometrical Product Specification (GPS)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Good spoken and written English skills
  • Independent and systematic way of working, strong team player
  • Reliability and resilience
