Multiple Positions - Senior, Lead, and Senior Principal Levels
Position Overview Our Solutions Architects support end-to-end solutions, systems, and products for our customers. The team investigates and resolves product and solution problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel. Candidates load software, configure, integrate, verify, and troubleshoot solutions in a lab environment or customer site using Oceus Network’s products, 3rd party products, and/or customized packages.
Candidate hiring tier (Senior, Lead and Senior Principal) will be determined during the interview process based on total years of experience, technical capability, and leadership scope.
Universal Position Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Current secret security clearance (or ability to obtain a clearance)
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Telecommunications or related field
Preferred Qualifications: Current U.S. Government Security Clearance is preferred
Techno-Functional Competency Requirements:

Core Technical Knowledge Requirements:
- Knowledge of installation and configuration of servers, routers and switches

Level Breakdown & Tiered Qualifications (Senior / Lead / Senior Principal)
Senior Level (5-7 years)
- Experience: 5–7 years of engineering experience in computer technology, telecommunications, or related systems integration roles.
- Skill Focus: Strong proficiency in designing distributed systems, enterprise architectures, and multi-tier applications, with the ability to guide implementation teams effectively. Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including architecture design, IAM, networking, storage, compute services, and cost optimized solution planning. Deep understanding of integration patterns (APIs, message queues, microservices), containerization technologies, and CI/CD pipelines. High-level problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose cross system issues involving infrastructure, data flows, security controls, and application logic. Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex architecture decisions into clear guidance for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership experience working with engineering and delivery teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring consistent architectural practices. Strong fluency in secure architecture principles, threat modeling, compliance considerations, and defense in depth strategies. Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging cloud technologies, frameworks, and architectural methodologies.
- Responsibilities: Lead solution design efforts by developing architectural blueprints, integration patterns, and end-to-end technical approaches that meet scalability, performance, and security requirements. Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex solution architecture challenges, collaborating with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to ensure cohesive resolution. Translate business requirements into technical specifications by conducting discovery sessions, analyzing operational constraints, and defining system interfaces and data flows. Evaluate emerging technologies, third party platforms, and architectural frameworks to recommend components that enhance solution reliability and long-term maintainability. Lead technical scoping, prototyping, and risk assessments for new initiatives, ensuring solution feasibility and alignment with business objectives. Provide structured mentorship to engineers and implementation teams, offering guidance on architectural best practices, integration strategies, and design documentation. Collaborate closely with product management, security, and engineering teams to ensure solutions align with functional requirements, compliance standards, and customer needs. Drive modernization and transformation initiatives, such as migrating legacy systems to cloud native architectures or re platforming major solution components. Strong understanding of integration patterns, microservices architectures, container orchestration, message brokers, and CI/CD pipelines. High‑level analytical and troubleshooting skills, capable of resolving complex multi‑system issues involving infrastructure, data flows, application logic, and security controls. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences and influence team direction.
