About the Role

Zayo Europe is seeking a highly motivated and analytically strong Product Analyst to play a key role in shaping our commercial performance and packet portfolio pricing. This position sits within Product Management with strong cross collaboration with Finance, Commercial and Sales. The role has direct influence on revenue growth, margin optimisation, and strategic decision-making.

You’ll partner closely with Product Management and Pricing leadership to evaluate pricing strategies, optimize product performance, and deliver actionable insights that directly impact business outcomes. This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to drive meaningful change.

Responsibilities:

  • Own product analytics for the Zayo Europe packet portfolio that keeps abreast of revenue, margin and churn by sales and market sector, providing insights and recommended actions
  • Develop and measure product analytics  such as KPIs, market segmentation, churn analysis, trend analysis, and post-campaign measurement.
  • Transform complex datasets into actionable insights to identify growth opportunities, margin improvements, and operational efficiencies
  • Design and evolve dashboards and reporting (SQL, Excel, Power BI, Salesforce) to provide real-time visibility into product and pricing performance.
  • Lead deep-dive product analysis to uncover trends, identify friction points, and evaluate product and feature performance
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Sales, and Strategy teams to align on campaign activity, pricing initiatives and overall business goals
  • Drive pricing optimization by analysing customer behaviour, market trends, and competitive positioning
  • Evaluate and refine costing models across products and markets to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Champion data integrity within Salesforce (SFDC), ensuring pricing and costing data is structured for optimal decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to improve product performance including campaign, pricing, revenue assurance activities
  • Present insights and recommendations, delivering clear recommendations and executive-ready summaries to senior stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in data analysis, pricing, finance, or a related field
  • Understanding of Packet portfolio and customer use cases (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Analytics, Operations Management, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MBA) advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience working across cross-functional teams, with the ability to coordinate and deliver on shared objectives
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and G-Suite applications
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com (SFDC) and/or telecommunications data systems; experience with Salesforce CPQ is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of pricing and financial metrics, including NPV, IRR, payback period, margin, and related methodologies
