Position Summary: Responsible for Polyglass and associated private labels product line contribution to support the business unit; with a primary focus but not limited to Roofing Tile Adhesives.
Responsibilities:
- Leads management of Polyglass’ Roofing Tile Adhesives product subcategory within the Roofing product line.
- Supports the Polyglass and Private Label product line life cycle from strategic planning to oversight of the tactical activities required.
- Develops and executes and/or participate in ongoing, product idea generation programs and new product development. Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research, etc. as necessary.
- Responsible for providing sales team with necessary product knowledge expertise to enable them to sell effectively.
- Complete regular analysis and prepare reports detailing ROI of current product performance, business case analysis for pending projects, and other market analysis as required.
- Ensures all product datasheet and product data content is accurate and aligned with packaging and labels
- Creates and manages project plans which list tasks and expected timelines and report project status using Project Management Software and other tools.
- Proactively manages and executes internal processes for new product set up and existing product changes.
- Actively assist in continuous improvement activities and offer positive suggestions for improvements and innovations.
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with a manufacturing company in a project management, marketing, sales, or operations team..
- Minimum 3 years of experience of leading projects, following solid project management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Roofing Tile Adhesives and technologies.
- Experience running projects through Stage-Gate.
- Experience running projects through project management software (e.g. Monday.com)
- Microsoft Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Sales Force
- Language: Spanish fluent, oral and written
