What You'll Do

Oivan is seeking a full-time passionate Ruby on Rails Developer (Junior/Middle) to join our growing Ho Chi Minh City and Danang teams. 

We offer the unique opportunity to work and improve your skills with a diverse and geographically distributed team of technology and business experts around the world. We have offices in Helsinki (Finland), Khon Kaen (Thailand), Bangkok (Thailand), Abu Dhabi (UAE), Riyadh (KSA) and Vietnam.  

Our project team uses the Scrum framework via Scrum.org certified Professional Scrum Masters.

Must have • 2.5+ years of experience in the IT field  

• Be able to work Saudi Arabia hours (13:00 – 21:00, Sunday to Thursday) 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. 
• Strong based knowledge in Object-oriented programming. 
• Backend experience using Ruby on Rails 
• Experience with REST/RESTFUL, JSONAPI 
• Good knowledge about Web development 
• Experience with SQL databases 
• Experience with Git, Git-flow 

Nice to have • Front-end experience such as Angular, Bootstrap, SCSS 

• Experience with other programming languages (Golang, Dart/Flutter, Typescript)  
• Experience with Microservices, Kafka, Redis... 
• Passion for backend technologies, eagerness to learn new languages and frameworks
