What you will be doing:

We are looking for a Mid-Level Python Backend Middleware Developer to join our engineering team and help build scalable middleware solutions that connect enterprise applications and services. You will develop and maintain backend integrations, APIs, and messaging solutions while collaborating with senior engineers to deliver reliable, high-quality software.

This is a backend-focused role with no frontend development responsibilities, ideal for a developer who enjoys working on integrations, distributed systems, and backend services.

Required Skills & Experience

 

• 3–5 years of professional experience developing backend applications with Python.

• Experience building backend services, middleware, or system-to-system integrations.

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.

• Experience with PostgreSQL.

• Exposure to NoSQL databases.

• Experience working with RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies.

• Experience using Redis for caching or backend performance optimization.

• Comfortable working in backend-only environments.

• Understanding of software engineering best practices, including clean code and design principles.

• Experience participating in software development processes, including:

• Unit testing

• Integration testing

• Code reviews

• Bug fixing and validation

Nice to Have Skills

 

• Experience with Docker.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Understanding of microservices or event-driven architectures.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
