Scope of the Role

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Business Analyst to drive business improvement, ERP optimisation, and data-led decision making across MRO Europe.

In this role, you will partner with stakeholders across multiple business units and regions to identify business needs, analyse processes, and deliver effective technology-driven solutions. You will play a key role in promoting ERP best practice, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and helping the organisation leverage emerging AI capabilities to enhance operational performance.

Working in a cross-regional environment, you will translate complex business requirements into practical solutions, improve system effectiveness, and provide meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement throughout the business.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

Strategic Business Analysis

Partner with business stakeholders to gather, define, and document requirements

Analyse end-to-end business processes to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities

Develop business cases, process maps, and solution proposals

Support delivery of change initiatives and transformation programmes

ERP Optimisation & Data Management

Provide functional support and optimisation of ERP systems (e.g., Quantum or equivalent)

Drive best practices in ERP usage and data governance

Monitor data quality and ensure consistency and integrity across systems

Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements and system improvements

Reporting & Data Insights

Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and SSRS

Analyse data trends to provide actionable insights for business decision-making

Define and track KPIs aligned to business objectives

Support leadership with data-driven performance reporting

AI & Digital Transformation

Identify opportunities for AI and automation within ERP, reporting, and business processes

Support the organisation in adopting AI-enabled tools and capabilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritise AI use cases

Contribute to AI governance, compliance, and responsible use of data

Stay informed on emerging technologies and assess business application

Stakeholder Engagement (Cross-Regional)

Work closely with IT leadership, business units, and global teams

Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and stakeholder reviews

Act as a bridge between business and technical teams

Ensure alignment with global IT and business strategies

Solution Delivery & Governance

Support implementation of business solutions and system improvements

Monitor and measure effectiveness of implemented changes

Ensure all solutions comply with data, security, and regulatory requirements

Maintain clear documentation of processes, requirements, and deliverables

Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
