Brown Brothers Harriman is looking for a talented and self-motivated Sr. Systems Analyst to be a member of the Security Master File (SMF) team. The individual in this role will be responsible for requirements gathering, translation of requirements into a system design, documentation of translated requirements specifications and supporting development of documented specifications. Responsibilities will include supporting and leading the analysis space for current portfolio of applications and ongoing/future initiatives. Non-technical skillset should include a high degree of organization, effective communication, the ability to work with internal and external teams that include system/business analysts, developers, managers and testers.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Act as systems project coordinator for assigned projects, including tracking to project milestones, ensuring proper SDLC documentation exists, creating formal
  • Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams.
  • Analyze business requirements and create functional specifications for application developers which may include data modelling, dataflow diagramming, screen design, workflow analysis.
  • Participate in and guide product specifications design sessions within the SMF and GoldenSource teams. Assist in identifying and designing solutions to be built and/or modified for the overall wellness of the domain.
  • Execute on Systems Integration Testing and support Users Acceptance Testing
  • Actively participate in liaising with Quality Management team to ensure the coverage of the integration test suite.
  • Contribute to the design, development, software testing and deployment process.
  • Actively liaise and collaborate with Business for requirements gathering and requirement clarification for development team.
  • Engage and interact with business and IT stakeholders to understand SMF/GoldenSource portfolio products requirements and current constraints.
  • Create integration testcases that thoroughly exercise logic to ensure application functionality and performance about business requirements.
  • Skilled with basic SQL knowledge to research the backend data for the applications in the SMF/GoldenSource portfolio domain.
  • Take ownership in the organization and maintenance of project artifacts and wherever possible introduce process improvements in the execution model.
  • Guide and provide training to other team members. 
  • Be open to learning new technology to advance the Security Master portfolio of products.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for assigned business applications and business lines
  • Work closely with business users, developers, infrastructure teams and external vendors to provide efficient solutions which meet business needs

Qualifications and Required Experience for your role would include:

  • Should have Bachelor's degree in a related field; OR equivalent work experience in technical data analysis
  • Should be able to conduct system analysis meetings with stakeholders and business
  • Should be able to develop system design documents
  • Should be able to develop project plans with achievable milestones and deadlines
  • Should be able to coordinate different department demands to gain approvals on system scope and design
  • Should have good communication skills, analytical ability and problem-solving skills •       Should be able to articulate the issues and propose viable solution

Nice To Have:

  • Experience in JIRA, Confluence, qTest and other collaboration tools 
  • Experience in COBOL, File Aide, CMOD and Mainframe screens  
  • Experience in MQ monitoring and monitoring Mainframe jobs
  • Experience in working with wireframes creation tools like balsamic 
  • Experience and exposure in analysis of the Java/Web based applications 
  • Knowledge of financial services is a plus

Salary Range

MA/NJ: $100,000- $150,000 Base Salary + Annual Target Bonus

BBH and its affiliates' compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
