Full description

The NOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and supporting a large-scale enterprise network spanning over 300 sites. This role serves as the first line of defense in identifying, responding to, and resolving network-related issues. Analysts will work in a 24/7 operations environment, ensuring high availability and performance of critical infrastructure by leveraging monitoring tools, executing routine maintenance, and escalating complex incidents as needed. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network infrastructure 24/7 using enterprise monitoring tools
  • Respond to network alerts and incidents within defined SLA timeframes
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and resolution of network issues
  • Execute routine network configuration changes following change management procedures
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities in ticketing systems
  • Escalate complex issues to Senior Network Engineers when required
  • Maintain network documentation and topology diagrams
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and emergency response
  • Generate regular reports on network performance and incident metrics

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related discipline)
  • 2–4 years of experience in network operations, support, or NOC environments
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VLANs, and switching concepts
  • Basic experience with Cisco CLI and network device configuration
  • Familiarity with firewall platforms and network security concepts
  • Exposure to hybrid cloud networking (e.g., Azure VNets, AWS VPCs) and cloud interconnectivity
  • Experience with monitoring platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, LogicMonitor, Datadog)
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL-based change management processes
  • Strong problem-solving and incident triage skills under pressure
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bonus: Scripting or automation experience (Python, PowerShell, REST APIs)

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCNA or equivalent industry certification
  • Experience with cloud-managed platforms such as Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto Networks (PAN-OS), or Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) / Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
  • Exposure to SD-WAN technologies and network segmentation strategies
  • Scripting experience in Python or PowerShell for network automation and diagnostics
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud networking (e.g., Azure VNets, AWS VPCs, transit gateways)
  • Experience working in a 24/7 NOC or technical operations environment
  • Exposure to SIEM/log management tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm, Elastic) for basic network event analysis
  • Experience with APIs or automation platforms (e.g., Ansible, RESTful interfaces) is a plus
