The Associate Marketing Product Manager provides the operational backbone for Safeguard’s global category management teams. This role ensures data integrity, launch readiness, and cross-functional communication. It’s a foundational role designed for emerging leaders who want to build deep product and market knowledge while supporting mission-critical programs across the organization? This position is located onsite at our Huntersville, NC office.
Key objectives:
- Maintain accuracy of all product and portfolio data.
- Deliver timely and precise performance dashboards and insights.
- Support launch execution, trade show preparation, and campaign operations.
- Enable cross-functional communication and reporting cadence
- Represent Product Marketing on cross-functional initiatives
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage SKU master data, pricing administration, product lifecycle documentation, and portfolio management systems, ensuring data accuracy and alignment across commercial, operational, and financial platforms.
- Maintain and govern SKU master data, ensuring accuracy of product attributes, descriptions, pricing, cost information, and lifecycle status across all business systems.
- Support pricing administration and governance processes, including new product pricing setup, price list maintenance, pricing updates, and distribution of customer-facing pricing communications.
- Conduct pricing, margin, and portfolio analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that support category management and business objectives.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Product Management teams to validate pricing structures, product costs, and profitability assumptions.
- Assist in the development and execution of pricing strategies by compiling market intelligence, competitive pricing data, and customer feedback.
- Support annual price increase initiatives, including pricing analysis, documentation updates, implementation coordination, and post-launch tracking.
- Monitor SKU lifecycle activities including product introductions, discontinuations, substitutions, and rationalization initiatives.
- Support monthly / quarterly performance tracking and category KPI dashboards.
- Coordinate launch readiness and asset creation with marketing.
- Compile post-launch and trade show reports for ROI measurement.
- Log and maintain all VOC data and product feedback

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required
- 1–3 years of experience in product or marketing operations preferred.
- Strong analytical and data organization skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data tools.
Preferred, but not required:
- Exposure product management, marketing, or supply chain functions.
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI) and/or other analytical platforms.
- Experience supporting trade shows, launches, or cross-functional projects.
- Experience in medical, safety, or tactical industries preferred?
- Experience maintaining SKY master data, product catalogs, or pricing databases is preferred.

Physical Requirements
