- Data security architecture lead for digital assets - focus on cryptography, HSMs, MPC, digital signatures - Key part in security reviews of the phase 0+ vendors for digital assets o Provided cryptographic review of all vendors in play o Ensured policy alignment on vendor workflows, infrastructure, and security of cryptographic materials o Identified a key gap in one of the vendors backup process which was a single point of compromise for our root key material > Provided engineering design on how to correct their process and workstream flaws to make the solution tenable, in short turn around to meet business timeframes - Helped define the vendor agnostic architecture, including the use of a centralized signing service to ensure integrity of requests and validation of policy execution for transaction requests - Defined a risk based policy set for the new digital asset technology stack to ensure we have uniformity to our risk profile and tolerance - Defining cold wallet storage solution, including air-gapped vault design to ensure security, confidentiality, and integrity of our wallet fund movement activities 5+ years of cybersecurity, cryptography, security architecture, or infrastructure security experience. Strong understanding of public/private key cryptography, digital signatures, certificate management, and key lifecycle management. Experience designing or securing systems that leverage HSMs, PKI, MPC, secrets management platforms, or equivalent technologies. Experience conducting security architecture reviews and threat assessments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
