The Opportunity

The Senior Product Designer is an individual contributor responsible for leading end-to-end user experience design for complex enterprise SaaS product capabilities, with a primary focus on new agentic products and AI-driven workflows. This role owns UX design initiatives from discovery through delivery, translating user insights, product strategy, and technical constraints into scalable design solutions that improve usability, adoption, and customer outcomes.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Senior Product Designer partners closely with Product Management, Engineering, and customer stakeholders to define user workflows, design interaction models, and deliver production-ready design assets. The role contributes to the evolution of the company’s design system and establishes consistent experience standards across product modules.

This position operates within a cross-functional product development environment and plays a key role in ensuring that product capabilities deliver intuitive, efficient, and scalable user experiences for enterprise financial technology clients.

What You'll Do

Product Experience Design & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end UX design for complex product capabilities, translating product requirements and user insights into interaction models, workflows, and production-ready UI designs—including new design patterns for agentic products and human-agent workflows.

• Define user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed interface specifications that support scalable and intuitive product experiences within enterprise SaaS environments.

• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to ensure design solutions are technically feasible, aligned with product strategy, and effectively implemented through the development lifecycle.

• Deliver high-quality design artifacts including user flows, interaction patterns, functional prototypes built with Claude and Cursor as production-ready code, and final visual designs that enable immediate engineering execution.

User Research & Problem Discovery

• Lead qualitative and quantitative user research initiatives, including customer interviews, usability testing, and workflow analysis, to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunity areas.

• Translate research insights into actionable design improvements that enhance usability, workflow efficiency, and product adoption.

• Facilitate service design and user discovery workshops with internal stakeholders and customers to map end-to-end workflows and inform product design decisions.

Design Systems & Experience Consistency

• Contribute to the evolution and governance of the company’s design system, ensuring consistent interaction patterns, accessibility standards, and visual language across product modules, and developing new design patterns for agent-driven and MCP-enabled user experiences.

• Apply design system components and UX standards to maintain cohesive user experiences across the platform while supporting scalable product development.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify opportunities to standardize interaction patterns and improve platform usability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to align user experience solutions with product roadmap priorities and technical architecture.

• Communicate design rationale, research insights, and design decisions clearly to stakeholders, including product leadership and executive audiences.

• Influence product decisions by advocating for user-centered design principles and data-informed UX improvements.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Monitor industry trends, emerging design practices, and agentic AI, MCP, and AI-assisted prototyping tools such as Claude and Cursor to continuously improve product usability and design processes.

• Identify opportunities to improve UX workflows, design efficiency, and collaboration practices across product development teams.

Technical & Systems Proficiency

• Advanced proficiency in modern UX design and prototyping tools (Figma preferred).

• Working knowledge of design systems, interaction design frameworks, and accessibility standards.

• Familiarity with agile software development processes and collaboration with engineering teams.

• Experience designing user experiences for agentic or AI-enabled products preferred. Proficiency with AI-assisted prototyping tools such as Claude and Cursor to produce working code engineers can build from directly. Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) a plus.

AI Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience designing user experiences for AI-enabled or agentic products, including workflows that incorporate human-agent interaction, automation, and AI-assisted decision support.

• Experience translating emerging AI capabilities and technical constraints into intuitive interaction models, user workflows, and scalable product experiences.

• Proficiency using AI-assisted prototyping and development tools, such as Claude and Cursor, to rapidly create and validate functional prototypes and accelerate design-to-engineering workflows.

• Familiarity with emerging AI interaction patterns and technologies, including Model Context Protocol (MCP), and the ability to apply evolving practices to enterprise product design.

• Ability to evaluate AI-driven experiences from a user-centered perspective, considering usability, transparency, appropriate user control, and effective human-AI interaction.

Education/Certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Psychology, or related field.

• 7–10 years of professional experience in product design, UX design, or interaction design within enterprise B2B SaaS environments.
• Demonstrated experience independently leading complex product design initiatives from discovery through implementation in cross-functional product development environments.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English sufficient to operate effectively within a global, cross-functional product development environment.

• Ability to clearly communicate complex design concepts, research findings, design rationale, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to facilitate user research, design workshops, and product discussions with internal stakeholders and customers in English.
