Job Description
Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a CSM (Customer & Service Management) Specialist who will support forecasting, budget planning, reporting, commercial processes, and operational administration across the department.
The ideal candidate is structured, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to independently drive assigned financial and administrative tasks while collaborating closely with project managers, team leads, and service managers.
Key Responsibilities
Forecast & Budget Planning
- Serve as a contact person for forecast and budget planning within the department
- Accept, validate, and process requests related to forecast and budget planning
- Participate in creating and improving processes, standards, and guidelines for planning
- Independently plan and update projects and cost centers in the forecast & budget tool
- Analyze variances and prepare insights for management decision-making
- Discuss forecasts and budgets with project managers, team leaders, and department management
Reporting & Data Maintenance
- Maintain data for department-wide overviews and dashboards
- Prepare figures for monthly reporting, management presentations, and financial reviews
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of operational and financial data
Bid Management Support
- Support bid managers during public tender submissions
- Create bid plans, coordinate formal documentation, monitor deadlines and milestones
- Support communication and documentation handling throughout the tendering process
- Service Management Support
- Support service managers throughout the lifecycle of awarded projects
- Manage formal tasks such as maintaining customer request data, initiating purchase orders, or sending welcome emails
- Ensure timely updates and administrative follow-up for ongoing services
- Invoicing & SAP Activities
- Independently prepare and release customer invoices in SAP
- Maintain quota tracking and contract monitoring
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal financial processes
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Analytical, systematic, and structured way of working
- High flexibility, resilience, and willingness to learn
- Strong personal initiative and ability to acquire new knowledge independently
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- At least 3 years of professional experience, including minimum 1 year in a comparable role
- Confident use of MS Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability, with adherence to deadlines
Nice-to-Have Knowledge
- Experience with budgeting or forecasting processes
- Basic understanding of project management or service management environments
- Experience with SAP (invoicing, order management, contract handling)
- Familiarity with corporate finance, reporting, or business administration topics
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, IT Management, or a related field
- Alternatively: completed vocational training with relevant practical experience
Language Requirements
- English: Must (B2–C1)
- German: MUST (B2–C1)

Salary
Final salary is negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2600 € /brutto.
