Description
REQUIRED: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph LOCATION: Full-time, onsite in Chantilly, VA
We are seeking a highly capable Data Scientist who excels at turning complex data into clear, actionable insight. The ideal candidate brings experience in two or more core disciplines—business analytics, statistics, data verification and validation, or data visualization—and applies both qualitative and quantitative methods to real‑world business analytics problems. This role requires proficiency in Tableau, Tableau Prep Builder, Python, SQL, and Excel, along with the ability to transform, manipulate, and combine data from diverse sources and structures.

Key Responsibilities
In this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:
- Working within two or more of the following disciplines:
- a. Business analytics
- b. Statistics
- c. Data verification and validation
- d. Data visualization
- Applying qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods to business analytics problems.
- Creating data visualization mockups, prototypes of visualizations, documenting work processes and effectively demonstrating products to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Interpreting data models and working with a variety of data sources and structures.
- Translating customer requirements into project or system specifications.
- Using Tableau.
- Transforming, manipulating, and combining data using a programming language, such as Python.
- Using a data preparation tool, such as Tableau Prep Builder.
- Using Excel and SQL.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to decompose ambiguous problems into actionable plans.
Highly Desired Qualifications
Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:
- Working with data derived from technical missions, taskings, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination.
- Using visualization tools, such as Jupyter, Visio, SharePoint, or Confluence.
- Working with APIs.
- Using GitHub, or similar version control systems.
- Using Python or R.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Information Systems or 4 years of relevant data analysis experience within the IC or military.
