As the Product Manager, AI Business Solutions, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing AI-driven solutions across Weyerhaeuser's business value chains. You will analyze end-to-end processes across multiple divisions to determine how AI can enhance revenue streams, reduce operational costs, optimize pricing, and refine our distribution networks. Your focus will be on developing solutions that align with Weyerhaeuser’s strategic objectives, driving growth and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a product strategy that leverages AI to drive cost reduction, revenue growth, and operational efficiencies across Weyerhaeuser’s business lines.
  • Conduct value chain analysis across businesses and distribution to identify opportunities for AI-enhanced decision-making, pricing optimization, and process automation.
  • Partner with stakeholders across engineering, data science, and business units to align AI products with organizational needs and goals.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive AI roadmap, setting clear milestones and communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Conduct market and competitive research to assess emerging AI technologies and their applicability to Weyerhaeuser’s operations.
  • Create business cases with ROI analysis and success metrics for AI initiatives to ensure they deliver measurable value.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation through launch, focusing on adoption, performance measurement, and iterative improvement.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI products, from ideation to launch, with a focus on adoption, performance measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop success metrics and KPIs for each AI initiative, ensuring that projects deliver measurable business value.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field. An MBA is strongly preferred; advanced degrees in AI or Data Science are a plus.
  • Experience in AI Product Management: 3+ years leading products, major capabilities, platforms, or new business initiatives from concept through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization. Additional product management experience - including experience managing AI/ML projects with measurable impact on cost reduction, revenue growth, or operational efficiency – is strongly preferred.
  • Strong Business Acumen: Proven track record in identifying business value within complex operations and translating that into actionable AI solutions. Experience in value chain analysis is highly desirable.
  • Planning and Delivery: Concrete experience simplifying complex business processes, workflows, or user experiences into scalable product solutions. Demonstrated ability to lead product roadmaps spanning 12 to 18 months working closely with data science, engineering team and cross-functional business partners.
  • Proven Ability in Product Adoption and Change Management: Experience in leading AI product rollouts, driving adoption through training and user engagement, and measuring impact.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with AI/ML tools, data management. Knowledge of AI deployment and integration within business environments. Experience with B2B workflow software, ERP system, supply chain platforms, or logistics technology.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing adoption and support across various business levels.
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to break down complex business processes and identify where AI can drive significant value.

What We Offer:

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $108,500-$162,700 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 15%25 of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5%25 of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
