Job Description

  • Execute commissioning activities across the full commissioning lifecycle, including pre‑commissioning, functional testing, performance testing, integrated systems testing (IST), and final handover.
  • Carry out commissioning of electrical or mechanical systems, depending on discipline, including but not limited to:• Electrical: MV/LV panels, transformers, generators, UPS systems, ATS/STSs, switchgear, earthing, and power monitoring systems.
  • Mechanical: Chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, cooling towers, pumps, AHUs, HVAC systems, and associated control systems.
  • Review and implement approved commissioning plans, test procedures, and scripts, ensuring testing is conducted safely and accurately.
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, OEM representatives, consultants, and client teams during commissioning and testing activities.
  • Witness factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and system testing as required.
  • Execute and support Integrated Systems Testing (IST) to validate system performance, redundancy, and operational scenarios.
  • Identify commissioning issues, record observations, prepare punch lists, and follow up to ensure timely closure.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, IEEE, Uptime Institute where applicable), project specifications, and local KSA regulations.
  • Strictly follow and promote HSE requirements during all commissioning activities.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate commissioning documentation, test records, reports, and system sign‑off sheets.
  • Support preparation of O&M manuals, as‑built documentation, training activities, and system handover to operations teams.
  • Assist the Commissioning Manager in client inspections, audits, and final acceptance activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Services
  • 5–8 years of experience in commissioning, testing, or construction of MEP systems
  • 3+ years of experience on data center or mission‑critical projects preferred.
