The BDR will be responsible for account research, targeted prospecting, stakeholder engagement, initial qualification, and nurture, partnering closely with Full-Cycle Sellers to convert target accounts into qualified sales opportunities.

This role requires a strategic, account-based approach to prospecting rather than purely high-volume outreach. The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of B2B technology sales or business development experience and is comfortable engaging technology and business stakeholders within mid-market and enterprise organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and prioritize target accounts based on business needs, technology environments, strategic initiatives, and potential buying triggers.
  • Identify and map relevant stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within target organizations.
  • Execute coordinated outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other approved channels.
  • Develop personalized messaging based on account context, stakeholder priorities, and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand business challenges, technology priorities, incumbent solutions, and potential opportunities for change.
  • Assess account fit, interest, urgency, stakeholder access, and potential opportunity value.
  • Identify relevant business events and customer signals that may create opportunities for technology transformation or migration.
  • Build relationships with multiple stakeholders within target accounts to support account penetration.
  • Convert engaged accounts into qualified opportunities based on agreed qualification criteria.
  • Partner with Full-Cycle Sellers to provide structured opportunity handoffs, including account context, stakeholders, pain points, business drivers, and recommended next steps.
  • Nurture accounts that demonstrate potential but are not yet ready to enter an active buying cycle.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of activities, contacts, qualification information, and next steps.
  • Capture customer feedback, objections, and competitive intelligence to continuously improve messaging and campaign strategy.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 2–3 years of B2B business development, SDR, inside sales, or technology sales experience.
  • Experience prospecting into mid-market or enterprise organizations.
  • High School
  • English C1

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Exposure to cybersecurity, cloud, SaaS, or enterprise technology preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to engage technology, security, and business stakeholders through relevant, personalized outreach.
  • Strong initial discovery and qualification skills.
  • Experience with account-based prospecting and multichannel outreach preferred.
  • Ability to research complex organizations and identify relevant stakeholders and buying signals.
  • Familiarity with CRM, sales-engagement, prospecting, and account-intelligence tools.

Measures of Success

  • Target account engagement.
  • Relevant stakeholder penetration.
  • Qualified meetings and discovery conversations.
  • Engagement-to-opportunity conversion.
  • Qualified pipeline generated.
  • Quality and completeness of qualification.
  • Multithreading within target accounts.
  • Opportunity progression following handoff.
