DIS is seeking a highly talented Salesforce Platform Architect to support the Salesforce Center of Excellence as part of the new VA OMEGA contract. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices, as well as extensive experience in enterprise-level Salesforce implementations. This role
requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable Salesforce architecture solutions aligned with VA OMEGA program requirements.
- Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance across Salesforce platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business transformation initiatives.
- Define and enforce Salesforce development standards, best practices, and governance policies.
- Evaluate and recommend integration patterns and middleware solutions.
- Oversee data modeling, security architecture, and platform performance optimization.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to development teams.
- Communicate architectural decisions and technical strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, development, and implementation.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and platform capabilities.
- Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience with data modeling, integration patterns, and middleware solutions such as MuleSoft.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CodeScan, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing in Salesforce environments.
- Lead rigorous code reviews and PR evaluations to enforce high standards of system architecture, security, and performance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise implementations of Salesforce. Knowledge of AI/ML capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
