We are pleased to offer the following compensation:

  • Sign-On Bonus: $4,000 total — half paid after your first onsite shift, and the remaining half after 90 days.
  • Per Diem: $1,000 weekly per diem available for full-time candidates for the duration of the project.
  • Competitive hourly pay $38.00-$44.00

Amphibious Medics―an on-site first response, health, and safety firm providing services to some of the most important construction projects and high-profile media productions in the country―is looking for an On-Site Certified Athletic Trainer.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform

wellness examinations, including blood pressure and blood glucose testing

• Provide first-aid treatment and case management for musculoskeletal complaints, including the use of ice, heat, wellness stretches, massage, tape techniques, and knowledge of non-rigid bracing. • Provide orthopedic injury evaluations • Develop and implement site-specific wellness programs and initiatives • Conduct exhaustive ergonomic job risk analyses, which include task analysis, risk factor identification and quantification, posture analysis, and body mechanics analysis. • Design and/or implement ergonomics interventions utilizing innovative, creative solutions and employee empowerment.

• Create an environment of trust and caring that empowers workers to reduce or eliminate actions or behaviors under their control that contribute to injury and illness. • Communicate regularly with safety personnel regarding rehabilitation and injury prevention activities. • Author articles for various company newsletters and intranets as needed. • The onsite athletic trainer will not provide rehabilitation services but will participate in education and prevention programs. • Act as a employee advocate for non-work-related injuries. • Candidates must be willing to take online Spanish classes or be bilingual.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of preferred athletic training experience is a plus • Bachelor's degree in related field • Board Certified Athletic training certification

• State licensures certification • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification • Willingness to travel to various client locations • Knowledge of OSHA Recordability and worker's compensation is a plus • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and employees • Previous ergonomic/occupational experience is a plus
