Corporate Finance Senior Analyst

We are looking for a highly analytical and hands-on Corporate Finance Senior Analyst to join Plata's Corporate Finance team. This is a high-exposure role where you'll support the execution of strategic debt and equity transactions while working directly with senior leadership and some of the world's leading financial institutions.

If you have experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, or corporate finance and enjoy working on complex transactions in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

Challenges that await you:

Capital Markets Execution

• Support the end-to-end execution of structured debt facilities, securitizations, private equity rounds, and public market transactions.

• Coordinate transaction workstreams with investment banks, investors, legal counsel, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

• Manage virtual data rooms and support due diligence processes.

• Prepare, review, and organize transaction materials, term sheets, and supporting documentation.

• Track transaction timelines and ensure milestones are delivered on schedule.

Financial Modeling & Analysis

• Build and maintain integrated financial models to support financing and strategic initiatives.

• Develop portfolio performance, funding, liquidity, and scenario analysis models.

• Perform valuation analyses, financial projections, and sensitivity scenarios.

• Support financial modeling for equity raises, debt transactions, and strategic projects.

Corporate Development

• Evaluate strategic initiatives, partnerships, and M&A opportunities.

• Conduct financial, commercial, and market analysis to support investment decisions.

• Prepare investment committee presentations and decision-making materials.

• Support transaction structuring and commercial negotiations.

Investor Relations & Strategic Support

• Prepare board presentations, investor materials, and executive reporting packages.

• Support monthly and quarterly investor reporting processes.

• Draft investor communications and respond to due diligence requests.

• Maintain key trackers, including cap tables, funding pipelines, covenant monitoring, and facility drawdowns.

• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Finance, Treasury, Risk, Legal, and other business teams to ensure disciplined execution and reporting.

What makes you a great fit:

• Approximately 3 years of experience in Investment Banking (M&A, ECM, DCM, Leveraged Finance preferred), Private Credit, Private Equity, or Corporate Finance.

• Proven experience supporting live transactions from execution through closing.

• Advanced financial modeling skills with expert-level Excel proficiency.

• Strong understanding of capital markets, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies.

• Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (mandatory).

• High level of ownership, accountability, and execution mindset.

• Comfortable working directly with senior executives and external financial institutions.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in fintech, banking, or other high-growth financial services companies.

• Exposure to structured finance, securitizations, or capital markets transactions.

• Experience working with institutional investors, rating agencies, or global investment banks.

• Knowledge of debt capital markets (DCM), equity capital markets (ECM), or leveraged finance.

• Experience preparing board materials or investor presentations.

• CFA designation or progress toward the CFA program is a plus.
