Job Title: Manager - QA (CBU) Location: Chennai Office Reports to (Position): Group Manager - QA Department/Function: Quality Assurance Purpose of the Job: Responsible for developing and implementing the quality systems & safety norms and ensure always followed to assure process and products meeting the requirements of internal & external customers.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and taking necessary actions for the reduction of TBR cured tyre scrap.
  • Monitoring and taking necessary actions for the reduction of internal customer complaints.
  • Ensuring the self-audit conducted as per plan and the gaps are arrested before external audit.
  • Ensuring there is no near miss and first aid incidents to QA team by following safety behaviour.
  • Monitoring stability and capability of CTC parameters and initiation of actions for not stable and not capable parameters.
  • Ensuring 100% adherence for GDP preparation.
  • Developing BQiP Projects for critical mixing processes.

Technical (Technical / Functional):

  • Knowledge on mixing processes.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949.
  • Knowledge on including core tools like FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP, APQP.
  • Knowledge on 5S, Kaizen & QC Tools.
  • QC Story Methodology.

Skills:

1. Interpersonal skill. 2. Leadership skills.
