Senior .NET/C# & TypeScript Developer

We are looking for an experienced .NET/C# and TypeScript Developer to join the One Engine Software Download and Installation team in Gothenburg. The team develops solutions that enable reliable software updates for vehicles through over-the-air, cable, and Wi-Fi connections.

You will work in an agile, collaborative environment where developers take ownership of requirements from technical review through development, testing, and production. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to technical planning, code reviews, architecture decisions, and the development of scalable, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend applications using .NET/C#, TypeScript, and WPF.

• Design and implement reliable, scalable, and high-performing software solutions.

• Translate business and technical requirements into production-ready functionality.

• Participate in code reviews, technical planning, architecture discussions, and solution design.

• Develop and deploy cloud-based services using Microsoft Azure.

• Work with Azure Functions and other Azure cloud services.

• Develop and maintain Windows desktop applications.

• Work with databases such as MongoDB and Azure Cosmos DB.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Kubernetes-based environments.

• Collaborate with UX/UI stakeholders to ensure a strong user experience and user journey.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Work closely with stakeholders and other development teams to understand technical needs and deliver effective solutions.

• Contribute to software development in a business-critical consumer environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Solid professional experience in .NET/C# development.

• Strong experience with TypeScript and frontend development.

• Experience with WPF and Windows desktop application development.

• Experience developing and deploying Azure cloud services.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Functions.

• Experience with databases such as MongoDB and/or Cosmos DB.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.

• Understanding of UX/UI principles and user-centric development.

• Experience working in an agile software development environment.

• Strong ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Experience participating in code reviews and technical/architecture discussions.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to take ownership and work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with React, Angular, or WinUI 3.

• Experience with Windows desktop application development using WinUI.

• Knowledge of TCP/UDP and network programming.

• Experience with automotive communication protocols such as DoIP, UDS, CAN, and CAN-FD.

• Experience working with automotive software or vehicle connectivity.

• Experience with direct client/stakeholder management.

• Strong understanding of vehicle software download and installation processes.
