Are you an aspiring or developing Technical Business Analyst keen to build your skills on a large-scale digital transformation program across an initial 12-Month Contract?
We're seeking a Junior Technical Business Analyst for a 12-month, on-site contract in Darwin, supporting a large-scale digital transformation and systems implementation program.
You'll work alongside senior project members, technical specialists, vendors and business stakeholders to support requirements gathering, process analysis, technical documentation, data activities and testing.
Key responsibilities
- Support workshops and stakeholder discussions, capturing requirements, decisions and actions
- Document business and technical needs, process flows, data requirements and solution options
- Develop requirements registers, process maps, data mapping notes and supporting documentation
- Support requirements for information management, reporting, data migration, system integration and configuration
- Liaise with technical teams and vendors to clarify requirements, assumptions, dependencies and issues
- Assist with source system and reference data analysis to support mapping and configuration
- Support development, integration and testing activities, including documentation and issue investigation
- Work with testing teams to ensure requirements are reflected in test scenarios and outcomes
About you
- Experience supporting requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder engagement and action tracking
- Exposure to ICT projects, systems implementations or digital transformation environments
- Basic understanding of data, reporting, system integrations and configuration
- Strong attention to detail and clear, structured documentation skills
- Confident communicator, comfortable asking questions and clarifying requirements with stakeholders
- Able to identify issues, document impacts and escalate risks or dependencies
- Exposure to data mapping, testing or integration concepts highly regarded
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, SharePoint or Teams desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business Analysis, Information Systems or similar desirable
