Department Overview: The cybersecurity assessments department performs information protection, governance, risk, and compliance assessments using common frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-535, NIST 800-171, Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), ISO 27001, and Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) standards. We are a customer facing organization that builds relationships with our customers to provide them the highest level of cybersecurity consultation, assessments, recommendations, and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing team projects of a variety of assessment and advisory work both remotely and onsite.
- Be able to work with commercial customers in a variety of sectors as well as public safety customers at all levels of government.
- Have a strong functional understanding of one or more cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including NIST CSF, NIST 800-53r5, NIST 800-61, NIST 800-171r3, NIST 800-30, CJISSECPOL, ISO 27001, CIS 8.1, and HIPAA.
- Operational knowledge in identifying and mitigating cyber security risks through formal assessment activities.
- Applied experience in assessing and analyzing cyber security documentation for client information systems.
- Display knowledge around privacy and information governance models.
- Have an understanding of incident response methods, models, and frameworks including NIST 800-61
- Self-motivated and able to work in an independent manner as well as part of a client delivery team.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and attention to detail.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, remote environment.
- Able to travel at least 30% as required for various client engagements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification preferred
- ISO 27001 Certified Assessor
- CMMC Lead Assessor
Target Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000 USD
