Action24 is looking for a Smart Security Engineer to join our dedicated engineering team.

The Opportunity
As a Smart Security Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting modern security systems, including Intruder Alarms, IP CCTV, Fire Alarms and Access Control systems.
You will be customer-facing and will play an important role in delivering a five-star customer experience while ensuring all installations and service work are completed to the highest industry standards.

Role Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and service Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Fire Alarm and Access Control systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot smart security technologies and associated applications.
- Provide excellent technical support to customers.
- Diagnose electrical, electronic and system faults.
- Complete installations and service work efficiently and to a high standard.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Action24 procedures and industry standards.
- Maintain full knowledge of Action24's Health & Safety policies, statements and risk assessments.
- Complete all required documentation accurately.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and customer experience.

Experience
A minimum of 2 years' experience in the security, engineering or electrical industry is preferred.
Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:
- Intruder Alarm systems wired & wirelss ( All model types)
- IP CCTV
- Fire Alarm systems (Wired, Wireless, conventional & addressable)
- Access Control
- Networking and IP technologies
- Smart-home or connected security technologies
We are also interested in engineers who have a strong technical aptitude and are keen to develop their skills within the smart security industry.
Location
We are looking for engineers based in Leinster, with regular travel to customer sites throughout the region.
Working Hours
- Standard 40-hour working week
- Flexible start and finish times
- Early finish on Fridays
- Overtime opportunities available
- On-call opportunities with a generous allowance
Salary
Salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, technical ability and expertise.
