We are recruiting for junior, mid-level, and senior engineers with a background in Embedded Software Engineering to support our team in Chandler, AZ. Due to the nature of this work, this position will be 100% on-site.

Key Skills and Responsibilities include: 

  • Object Oriented (OO) Software development experience in C/C++ in a Linux environment
  • Embedded real-time software development, debug and test
  • Real time operating systems (RTOS) environments including VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux, or other equivalent RTOS
  • Full software development lifecycle
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Basic Qualifications for Levels 2-4:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience, or Master’s degree with 1 year (Level 2)
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year (Level 3)
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience, or Master’s degree with 6 years,  or PhD with 4 years (Level 4)
  •  Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Requires an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
  • Directly related Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) experience

 Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Master’s or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Top Secret clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $184,200.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
