About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A, McKesson Specialty Health, the Senior Financial Analyst supports financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and business performance analysis across the organization. This role provides actionable financial insights, helps drive operational decision-making, and contributes to process improvements through data analytics, automation, and modern finance technologies.
The successful candidate will partner with business stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, month-end activities, management reporting, and strategic finance initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret monthly financial results, including P&L and balance sheet reporting.
- Develop recurring and ad hoc financial reports, dashboards, and business performance analyses.
- Monitor budget-to-actual results, identify variances, assess financial risks, and provide recommendations.
- Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, including scenario planning and financial modelling.
- Participate in month-end close activities and ensure financial data accuracy and integrity.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights that support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with corporate finance teams to ensure transactions are accurately reflected within SAP.
- Leverage Power BI, Excel, automation, and analytics tools to improve reporting efficiency and business insights.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to streamline financial reporting and planning activities.
- Support financial audits, special projects, and strategic business initiatives as required.
Basic Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- CPA designation completed or actively pursuing designation.
- 3-5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or a related financial analysis role.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- CPA designation.
- Power BI reporting and dashboard development experience.
- Experience with financial data visualization and analytics tools.
- Experience supporting automation, reporting enhancements, or finance transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to predictive analytics, AI-enabled reporting tools, or advanced financial forecasting methodologies.
- Healthcare, specialty pharmacy, or related industry experience.
Work Environment
- Hybrid work arrangement, subject to business requirements.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position
$81,500 - $108,600
