As a Senior Security Engineer, you’ll help design, uplift and embed security across TLC’s technology environment. Working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams, you’ll shape secure solutions, strengthen enterprise security controls, provide trusted risk-based guidance, and influence security outcomes across key initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Maintain and improve security engineering solutions across their lifecycle, ensuring they remain effective, supported and aligned with business and security requirements.
- Play an active role in TLC’s ongoing multi-year security uplift program, helping mature security capabilities, uplift controls and support secure outcomes across key technology platforms and initiatives.
- Design and review secure, end-to-end technical solutions across identity, cloud, network, data and application domains, embedding secure-by-design principles from the outset and aligned to relevant industry regulations.
- Develop and uplift enterprise security standards, architecture patterns and hardening guidance to establish consistent controls and improve security maturity across the technology landscape.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, engineers and delivery teams to define security requirements, provide risk-based guidance and influence practical security outcomes.
What you’ll bring
- Broad experience across security engineering, security architecture and risk-based solution design in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong working knowledge across a range of security domains, such as cloud security, application security, identity and access management, network security, endpoint security, vulnerability management, data protection, monitoring and detection.
- Deeper experience in one or more specialist areas, particularly Cloud Security and/or Application Security, would be highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of secure-by-design principles, threat modelling, control assurance and security architecture patterns.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence technical and business audiences and explain security requirements clearly.
