Java Kubernetes Developer 

We are looking for a Java Kubernetes Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot on Kubernetes (Anthos). Has strong experience in microservices, cloud environments, containerization, and secure application development. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot. 
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices. 
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Anthos. 
  • Integrate applications with SQL and NoSQL databases, messaging platforms, and external services. 
  • Implement unit and integration testing using JUnit and Mockito. 
  • Apply secure coding practices using Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT. 
  • Follow software engineering best practices, including SOLID, Clean Code, and code quality standards. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, Front-End, and Architecture. 
  • Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and Agile ceremonies. 

Required Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience with Java development. 
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot 6.0, 3.x, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate. 
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Anthos. 
  • Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and Kerberos Windows Integration. 
  • Experience with React 18/19. 
  • Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra). 
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS. 
  • Experience with Git (GitHub/GitLab). 
  • Experience working in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. 
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Oracle Java Certification (OCP). 
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud/Anthos). 
  • Experience with Microservices Architecture and Event-Driven Architecture. 
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). 
  • Experience using code quality and security tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Fortify, and BlackDuck. 

 

 

ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).

Salary: $44,000 - 48,000 gross based on experience.
