Lead Project Manager
Role Summary
As a Lead Project Manager, you’ll lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives from strategy through implementation. You’ll bring business, technology, and cross-functional teams together to deliver meaningful results while managing priorities, risks, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
This is a highly visible leadership role for a strategic, results-driven professional who can navigate complexity, influence senior leaders, and keep teams moving toward shared goals.
Day in the Life
You’ll balance big-picture strategy with hands-on project leadership—partnering with executives, guiding cross-functional teams, removing roadblocks, and making decisions that keep critical initiatives on track.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own delivery of complex projects and programs, including scope, budget, timeline, quality, and outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional teams across business, technology, operations, and vendors.
- Establish project plans, governance, communication strategies, and success measures.
- Partner with executives to define priorities, objectives, and expected business results.
- Manage risks, dependencies, resources, budgets, and competing priorities.
- Lead requirements gathering and business process analysis.
- Drive projects through planning, implementation, adoption, and benefits measurement.
- Provide executive reporting, presentations, and project health updates.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party deliverables.
- Support change management, communications, training, and organizational readiness.
- Mentor Project Managers and contribute to improving project management practices and processes.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 8+ years of project or program management experience leading large, complex business and technology initiatives.
- Proven success delivering enterprise projects with executive visibility and significant organizational impact.
- Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to connect project decisions and outcomes to broader business goals.
- Experience managing budgets, resources, risks, and competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in complex environments.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Planview, Clarizen, or similar platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP certification strongly preferred; Agile, Scrum, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or similar certifications are a plus.
