Tasks
- Lead the build-out and modernization of the QA strategy at Deutsche Bank
- Design and scale automated test frameworks — from unit to end-to-end tests
- Move teams away from manual Excel-based testing toward specialized tooling (Allure, Tricentis, Xray)
- Drive adoption of Cucumber + Java/JS for behavior-driven testing
- Act as technical lead: coach teams, set standards, secure management buy-in
- Collaborate with Release Management, DevOps, and Product
Requirements
Must-have:
- 7–10+ years of QA and test automation experience
- Strong knowledge of Tricentis, Xray, or equivalent
- Solid skills in Java or JavaScript + Cucumber (BDD)
- Proven experience modernizing QA in larger organizations
- Ability to drive change across teams
- Professional English
Nice-to-have:
- Allure experience (preferred)
- Other test frameworks (Python, Playwright etc.)
- Banking or fintech background
- German language skills a plus
