Data & AI Software Engineer

Your Tasks

Develop and operate productive data pipelines for reports, analytics and machine learning and ensure their quality and future viability

Use your software development skills and set new standards for development and deployment

Optimize the performance of data engineering solutions and guarantee their scalability

Ensure data quality and consistency through data validation and cleansing

Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure to minimize downtime

Implement data security and privacy measures

Work in interdisciplinary agile teams with data scientists, data engineers, product owners and specialist departments

Your Profile

Completed degree in computer science or talented newcomer

Enthusiasm for the topic of data engineering and software development

Experience in cloud, containerization and big data, ideally with MS Azure, Kubernetes and Spark

Experience with SQL

Experience with developing data pipelines (batch, streaming)

Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Scala, Java)

Knowledge of the software development cycle and its best practices (e.g. CI/CD, DevOps, testing)

Analytical skills, agile mindset, independence and hands-on mentality
