Full description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Marketing Agent based in the United States.
This is a high-impact product leadership role focused on transforming how independent restaurants approach digital marketing. You will own the strategy and execution of a marketing agent that helps restaurant operators create, launch, and optimize campaigns with minimal effort. The scope spans email and SMS campaign automation, diner data and consent, AI-powered marketing actions, measurement, and product activation. You will turn complex restaurant data into practical marketing outcomes that can directly improve customer engagement and revenue. Working closely with senior product leadership and cross-functional teams, you will have significant autonomy over your product domain. The role combines product strategy, hands-on analytics, lifecycle marketing expertise, and emerging AI and agentic technologies. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced product leader who wants to build products that solve real problems for busy business owners.
\n
Accountabilities:
- Own product strategy: Define and execute the vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for the Marketing Agent domain, taking ownership from problem discovery through launch and ongoing optimization.
- Transform campaign management: Evolve campaign creation from a manual configuration experience into an intelligent system that can recommend, execute, and demonstrate the value of marketing campaigns.
- Lead lifecycle marketing products: Own campaign creation and automation across email and SMS, including the experiences that enable restaurants to engage diners effectively.
- Manage diner data: Own the diner database and consent model, ensuring restaurant-owned customer relationships remain useful, accessible, and responsibly managed.
- Build agentic experiences: Develop AI-powered capabilities that turn restaurant data into meaningful marketing actions without creating additional operational work for restaurant owners.
- Establish measurement standards: Define and champion rigorous approaches to marketing measurement and incrementality, particularly where attribution is complex or contested.
- Drive product activation: Take ownership of adoption and engagement, ensuring marketing tools are easy to discover, activate, and use successfully rather than relying solely on downstream go-to-market efforts.
- Use data to guide decisions: Leverage product analytics and SQL to investigate performance, understand user behavior, identify opportunities, and make evidence-based product decisions.
- Partner cross-functionally: Work with engineering, design, marketing, analytics, and other stakeholders to translate customer needs and business goals into effective product solutions.
- Operate with autonomy: Report directly to senior product leadership and independently own the domain, balancing ambitious product goals with practical execution and measurable outcomes.
- Advocate for customers: Keep independent restaurants at the center of product decisions, ensuring solutions reduce complexity and help operators grow without adding more work to their day.
Requirements
- Product management experience: 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of products from problem definition and discovery through launch and ongoing operation.
- Lifecycle marketing expertise: Hands-on experience building and operating lifecycle, CRM, campaign, email, SMS, segmentation, or marketing automation products.
- AI and agent experience: Demonstrated hands-on experience building and shipping products that use AI or agentic technologies, beyond experimentation or prototypes.
- Product analytics: Working fluency in SQL and product analytics, with the ability to independently retrieve, analyze, and interpret data to inform product decisions.
- Measurement expertise: Experience owning metrics where attribution is complex or contested, with the ability to establish and defend a credible measurement methodology with stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking: Strong ability to identify meaningful customer problems, establish ambitious goals, prioritize opportunities, and translate strategy into an actionable roadmap.
- Customer orientation: Deep empathy for independent businesses and an ability to design simple, practical solutions for customers with limited time and resources.
- Cross-functional leadership: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence engineers, designers, marketers, analysts, and senior stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
- Ownership mindset: Proactive, ambitious, and willing to take responsibility for difficult problems, raise new ideas, and contribute beyond narrowly defined responsibilities.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in an evolving environment where priorities shift and new opportunities require experimentation, learning, and decisive action.
- Inclusive leadership: Demonstrated respect for diverse perspectives and a collaborative approach that encourages different ideas, experiences, and voices.
Benefits
- Expected base salary: $158,000–$200,000 annually, depending on location and experience.
- Fully remote position for eligible candidates based in the United States.
- Ongoing training, professional development, and career growth opportunities.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
- Mental health coverage and wellness programs.
- Unlimited paid vacation.
- Seven weeks of paid baby-bonding leave for all new parents during the first year following birth or adoption.
- Eight weeks of paid pregnancy leave.
- 401(k) matching.
- Employer-contributed student loan assistance or continuing education reimbursement.

- Supportive leadership focused on transparency, clear goals, respect, and fairness.
- A high-autonomy environment that provides flexibility while maintaining accountability.
