SUMMARY
The Manager for Field Service Engineers plays a pivotal role in leading a team of engineers responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of Vertiv and legacy company equipment at customer sites across the EMEA region. This role ensures operational excellence, team performance, and customer satisfaction through effective leadership and strategic oversight
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Field Service Engineers across designated territories.
- Ensure timely and high-quality execution of installation, maintenance, and repair services.
- Drive team performance through KPIs, efficiency metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Technical Support, Logistics) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Foster strong customer relationships, acting as a point of escalation and ensuring satisfaction.
- Identify training needs and support the development of technical and soft skills within the team.
- Manage resource planning, scheduling, and workload balancing to optimize service coverage.
