How will you make an impact in this role?

New Accounts Risk Onboarding is responsible for enterprise risks through the customer lifecycle and across all our global products. We develop industry-first data capabilities, build profitable decision-making frameworks, create machine learning-powered predictive models, and improve customer servicing strategies. This team has delivered industry leading results year after year while enabling profitable growth and delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Responsibilities

The RPDS New Accounts Product Development Team is responsible for leading the credit risk aspects of new product launches and updates to current offerings. To accomplish this, the team partners with Risk Technology as well as the Product Teams, Strategy partners and Solution Management Team to build world-class onboarding capabilities to minimize credit risk and improve customer experience.

  • Translate needs of business owners/stakeholders and deliver on the Product roadmap
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across to brainstorm innovative solutions and delivery methods, gather requirements and benefits and drive a common future vision
  • Lead the product functional design and technical design based on knowledge of the customer and technology
  • Identify opportunities and driving software product strategy, roadmap, and features
  • Lead the business features and grooming software product/capability features and stories
  • Write stories for scrum teams, perform all scrum ceremonies with scrum team
  • Agile mindset and transformation champion
  • Prioritize engineering work and balancing the requirements of customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage products through the development process, advocating to achieve the best outcomes
  • Interact with product managers and engineers to identify needs, opportunities, and gaps, and solve problems
  • Brainstorm and negotiate effectively with various stakeholders to continuously define feature priority
  • Partner with other functional teams across the Risk and Non-Risk groups to use standard methodologies and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the customer journey

Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile Methodology, features, user stories, scrum ceremonies. JIRA/Confluence experience.
  • Comfort with ambiguity: Ability to understand required solution characteristics, features and/or to define segments within which existing products should be deployed.
  • Collaborative team player: Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and effectively operate in ambiguity, white space, and constantly evolving priorities.
  • Leadership experience: Experience leading cross-functional teams to manage large scale product launches.
  • Intellectual curiosity: High-intellectual curiosity, creative and critical thinker with experience in sophisticated problem solving and strategic thought leadership.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: Proactive self-starter with a demonstrated track record for navigating sophisticated and highly matrixed organizations to execute and deliver results.
  • Product Owner experience: Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to autonomously manage several initiatives at once and drive results in a fast paced, multi-partner environment with constant change.
  • Effective communicator and influencer: Excellent written and oral communication skills, proficient in developing excellent quality presentations and deliverables for an executive audience. Ability to indirectly influence a wide range of diverse stakeholders and mobilize and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Self-confident with a strong sense of integrity and the ability and willingness to challenge and be challenged. Confident with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive innovation - articulate point of view with a rationale and be able to defend it.
