This isn't your typical job. You’ll start by learning the ropes as a Switchman — working hands-on with a close-knit crew to move railcars safely and efficiently. From there, you can advance to Conductor ($23–$25/hr), Engineer ($24–$26/hr), and beyond.

🚧 What You’ll Be Doing
- Working outdoors in all weather
- Walking up to 6 miles per shift
- Climbing railcars, coupling and uncoupling them
- Following strict safety protocols — no shortcuts, no exceptions
- Communicating by radio and hand signals
- Learning to think like a strategist — train movement is a puzzle, and you’re the problem-solver
