What Will You Bring?

  • 8–10 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development, preferably within the Passive Safety domain.
  • Strong expertise in AUTOSAR-based software development and integration.
  • Proficiency in Embedded C and Assembly programming.
  • Hands-on experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, UDS, and SPI.
  • Experience in RTE configuration and development of application software, diagnostics, communication stacks, MCAL, NVRAM, and Bootloader modules.
  • Good understanding of microcontroller architecture, memory management, device drivers, debuggers, and compiler environments.
  • Knowledge of Fault Handler, DEM, EOL, EDR, Secure Boot, Secure Flash, HSM, and Cybersecurity modules is an added advantage.
  • Experience with automotive tools including Vector DaVinci, GENY, Tresos, Enterprise Architect, CANoe, CANalyzer, and CANstress.
  • Sound knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE), ISO 26262, MISRA Guidelines, software debugging, and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with software architecture, detailed design documentation, configuration management, and change management processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, cross-functional teams, and global stakeholders.
  • Agile certification and small team handling experience will be an added advantage.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and work in overlap/shift timings when required.

What Will You Do?

  • Analyze system and software requirements and prepare low-level requirements along with traceability documentation.
  • Create software architecture and detailed design documentation using Enterprise Architect.
  • Develop, integrate, and maintain AUTOSAR BSW components and application software.
  • Perform software development, functional testing, and integration activities in line with defined processes and quality standards.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python and J-Script.
  • Prepare effort estimates and support project planning activities.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve software defects and customer-reported issues.
  • Create test specifications, test cases, and execute validation and integration test plans.
  • Integrate AUTOSAR components, BSW modules, and application software across the platform.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, technical discussions, and customer interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262, MISRA, and organizational software development standards.
  • Provide regular status updates on assigned tasks and proactively highlight risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, engineering processes, and development infrastructure.
  • Collaborate effectively with global teams to deliver high-quality software solutions within project timelines.
