The Financial Systems Analyst will be an integral part of the Financial Systems team and will work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to analyze business processes and workflows to gather and validate business requirements to create project plans and system design documents. In this role, you will utilize strong collaboration skills as well as verbal and written communications to drive alignment and progress.
Compensation range: $82,000 - $90,000
Other Compensation: Performance bonus eligible
The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, licensure, certifications, related experience and other related factors.
What you will be doing:
- Elicit, validate and document business requirements to support process improvement projects.
- Use metrics to identify opportunities for automation within the finance department.
- Work closely with the finance department to create efficiencies and process improvements.
- Research and analyze available solutions to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Testing and validation of solutions.
- Liaison with engineering and product departments to ensure finance needs are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or applicable technical degree
- 2-4 Years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or accounting, including knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with ERP (Oracle eBusiness preferred)
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness and aptitude to learn new technologies
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
