Summary: The IT Business Analyst serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, supporting key footwear and apparel business functions including product development, sourcing, manufacturing, inventory management, wholesale distribution, eCommerce, retail operations, and customer service. This role analyzes business processes, gathers requirements, identifies improvement opportunities, and supports solutions that enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, customer experience, and profitability.

- Partner with business stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and gather, document, and analyze requirements for initiatives, system enhancements, and operational changes.
- Develop process flows, use cases, business requirements documents, functional specifications, and other documentation that clearly communicates business needs.
- Facilitate interviews, workshops, and working sessions, and translate business requirements into functional designs for technical teams.
- Analyze and support footwear processes including product lifecycle management, style and SKU creation, product data, sourcing, vendor management, manufacturing, inventory, order management, wholesale distribution, retail, eCommerce fulfillment, returns, and supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Merchandising, Sourcing, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Operations, Distribution, Retail, eCommerce, and IT teams to improve business performance.
- Analyze operational and financial data, develop reports and key performance indicators, and promote data integrity across ERP, eCommerce, product lifecycle management, and warehouse systems.
- Support enterprise projects through planning, solution design, testing, deployment, post-implementation support, risk identification, and business impact analysis.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, validate system functionality against documented requirements, and investigate business process issues and system defects.
- Develop business procedures, user documentation, and training materials; conduct end-user training and support adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of company information and maintain professional knowledge of relevant business processes, systems, and analysis practices.
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Three or more years of IT Business Analyst experience.
- Experience in footwear, apparel, retail, manufacturing, distribution, or consumer goods industries preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as System 21 Aurora, Infor M3, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable platforms.
- Experience supporting cross-functional business operations and technology projects.
- Knowledge of footwear product lifecycle management; seasonal development calendars; and style, color, size, width, fit, and SKU structures preferred.
- Knowledge of global sourcing, vendor collaboration, manufacturing, inventory planning, allocation, wholesale order management, eCommerce, omnichannel fulfillment, warehouse operations, and returns preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI or comparable reporting tools; SQL and database query experience preferred.
Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, workflow analysis, data analysis, testing, quality assurance, and project coordination.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: Onsite: This position operates in an onsite office environment. Work is performed primarily using a computer, phone, and in-person or virtual collaboration tools. The role is generally sedentary and involves extended periods in a stationary position, with periodic movement throughout the workplace as needed.
The employee is expected to maintain regular attendance during agreed-upon business hours and attend required meetings, training sessions, and other onsite activities. The position requires routine interaction with supervisors, coworkers, business stakeholders, vendors, and customers, as applicable, to support business needs and project objectives.
