Why we’re hiring:

We are supporting and developing a large-scale financial controls application across 100+ finance teams globally and we need a Project Manager to get stuck in and support our core team in managing the ongoing maintenance and successful development and improvement of the said finance application. As part of our Project team, you’ll be working closely with the HQ Finance Team, Enterprise Data Group, IT team and a third-party vendor supporting this application.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Facilitate ongoing successful delivery, maintenance, and user growth for the finance application across HQ & Networks
  • Drive project success metrics and timelines
  • Identify opportunities to set up and improve programme-related processes to drive efficiency
  • Facilitate delivery of change requests and application enhancements
  • Plan, administer, manage & monitor the UAT testing activities for new functionalities to ensure successful completion of UAT
  • Lead delivery of programme governance documents and preparation for internal Board meetings and audit checks
  • Identify and proactively handle risks, issues, and dependencies, forecast resource demand and prioritisation
  • Directly manage the day-to-day of our supplier team

What you’ll need:

Minimum requirements for this role include:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing delivery of a large-scale global transformation programmes and/or finance applications impacting 1000+ users
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to cross-functionally sell your ideas, collaborate, and engage with the C-suite
  • Experience with data-driven decision making, agile delivery, and creative problem solving
  • Competence, confidence, and self-discipline to manage deadlines, estimates, and budgets
  • Strong cross-functional Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management skills
  • Hands-on, active, results-oriented attitude
  • Both ‘detail’ and ‘big picture’ conscious outlook
  • Diligence and attention to detail coupled with exceptional ability to listen, learn, and deliver
  • Mastery of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MoSCoW and other Change Management concepts
  • Strong understanding of full Product Lifecycle Management and experience working with data teams (engineers, analysts, etc.)
  • Solid Risk Management, Risk Mitigation, Compliance skills
  • Ability to effectively align IT, Data, and Finance needs & requirements

Additional preferred skills:

  • Auditor background, ‘Big 4’ experience strongly preferred
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
